Marine Corps Security Force Regiment (MCSFR) organizes, trains, equips, and provides anti-terrorism security forces in support of combatant commanders and Naval commanders in order to conduct expeditionary security operations and provide security for strategic weapons and vital national assets. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit concluded its rotation with Marine Rotational Force – Southeast Asia on March 31, after enhancing combined readiness with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and regional partners in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and Thailand. U.S. Marines with 12th Littoral Combat Team, 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, executed company-size attacks during a Combined-Arms Live-Fire Exercise at Rodriguez Live-Fire Complex, Republic of Korea, Feb. 26 to March 4, 2026. During the company-level exercise, Marines integrated organic and supporting fires, maneuver elements, and reconnaissance capabilities to conduct a coordinated assault on a designated objective.
In a future conflict against peer adversaries, logistics may determine how long U.S. forces can remain in the fight. To counter supply chain vulnerabilities, the Marine Corps is pushing advanced manufacturing capabilities forward, allowing Marines to produce critical repair parts at the point of need.
