Master Chief Paula M. Necaise, a native of Bourne, MA; completed recruit training at Navy Recruit Training Command, Orlando, FL, in April 1992. Upon graduation, she transferred undesignated to the USS Suribachi in Earle, NJ. While onboard the USS Suribachi, she was assigned to 1st Division, Deck Department. She reported to Naval Station New York, Staten Island NY in January 1993. Upon approval to attend Master-at-Arms “A” School through the accession program; she reported to Master-at-Arms “A” School, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX in March 1994 as a Seaman.
Upon completion of “A” school, in May 1994, she reported to Naval Weapon Station Yorktown Security Det., Yorktown, VA as a Petty Officer Third Class assigned to the Operation Division as a Command Investigator.
July 1995, MA3 Necaise was promoted to Petty officer Second Class. While onboard she was approved to continue on as a Military Working Dog (MWD) Handler. MA2 Necaise reported to MWD “C” school San Antonio, TX July, 1996.
Upon completion of MWD school October, 1996 she transferred to Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk VA as a Narcotics/Patrol Dog handler.
October of 1998 MA2 Necaise transferred to COMNAVMARIANAS Guam as Explosive/Patrol Dog Handler, where she was advanced to Petty Officer First Class.
January 2001 MA1 Necaise was assigned to PRECOM UNIT for the USS IWO JIMA as the
Brig Supervisor and Command Investigator during her tour she was selected for promotion to Chief Petty Officer and completed the ships maiden voyage in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
March 2004 MAC Necaise transferred to Assault Craft Unit 4, Little Creek, VA for duty as the Chief Master-at-Arms where she was selected for promotion to Senior Chief Petty Officer. In 2005 she attended the Senior Enlisted Academy class 119(Blue).
January 2008 MACS Necaise transferred to Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Security Detachment, Japan for duty as the Operations Officer. She was selected for promotion to Master Chief Petty Officer April 2010.
December 2010 MACM Necaise transferred to Naval Submarine Bay Kings Bay, Georgia Security Detachment for duty as the Senior Enlisted Advisor. During this tour she was selected for an Individual Augmentee assignment to NAVCENT FWD Afghanistan with forwarding orders to stand up NAVCENTFWD Manas as the Senior Enlisted.
October 2014 MACM Necaise transferred to Naval Support Activity Souda Bay, Greece for duty as the Senior Enlisted Advisor.
November 2014, MACM transferred to Marine Security Force Battalion, Kings Bay, Georgia for duty as Senior Enlisted Advisor.
MACM Necaise’s personal decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal; Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal with four Gold Stars in lieu of fifth award; Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal with 2 Gold Stars in lieu of third award.
